Hello,
I have a 100g acrylic tank with 4 slits (each~8" long) in the top rear of the tank that allows for water to overflow into a reservoir. I have had the tank running for a months and have been noticing that the tank is losing ~2-3gallons of water daily. I have to replenish the water almost daily so that the pump returning water to the tank is not shooting mostly air back into the, b/c the water level runs low. Is this normal? I have checked for leaks, and so far no signs of any leaks, so I am guessing that this is due from evaporation. I have heavy glass lids on the top of the tank and usually only have the lights on for ~6hrs a day.
Anyone with the same type of setup experience this?
