I have an AGA 210gal with built in overflow.
I'm planning on getting an Arow and want to drop the water level without making permanent modifications to the tank in case I sell to up grade.
Any suggestions/designs???

you could make a syphon (or several) out of some vinyl tubing/pvc and just dump it into the overflow

If you have the slotted box kind, you can rig up a guard to prevent the aro from getting into it.

If it's a "reef ready" type of overflow, you could always drill a hole in it big enough for a bulkhead and shorten your standpipe inside the overflow box. When you want the wter level higher or yousell the tank just plug the bulkhead or patch the overflow box.

Can u post a link to the "bulkhead you're referring to?

OK,looked it up and know what you're talki9ng about, but that would take a bit of experimenting and I'm a little nervous about screwing it up(Although I think it's a cool idea). I'll check out my bulkhead options. THANX!

-Any Other Ideas Are greatly appreciated!
