Just a quick question and wanted to get some input...i'm finally going to get the sump started and hopefully finished on this 180. I have 2 X 1" bulkhead drains on the top back of my tanks and want to "T" them together underneath the tank and then run that into the sump. My question is if I run it as a 1"x1"x1" tee will it hurt my sump or do i have to run a 1"x1"x1 1/2" tee? I was concerned that with the first option that it would not give me as much of a flow as the second option. Thoughts?

I wouldn't tee them together, good place for noise to start. I don't think you would notice a flow problem but with my setups I run one pipe full siphon and balanced to let the second just pick up the slack.
Jcardonna has a bunch of good threads on piping drilled tanks.
