Overflow return rate need help!!!!

Well I inherit an proline pump that pumps 2100 gal an hour how big should my pvc overflow be for my 180 gal tank. I was thinking 2in PVC DIY overflow to match the pump. What you think?

consider your head loss first...meaning the height of the pump to the return...which will lessen the gph output. Do you have one or two over flows? Internal or external? Depending on your setup...with a two inch pvc overflow you would definately need a valve to adjust water height in the overflow because your pump won't be able to keep up. More info regarding what type of overflow you have would help.
