overflow ?

i cant get my overflow box to run more than 2 days
when i start sucking the water from u tube it flow perfectly with a small air bubble in tube, then about 6 hours later the air bubble gets bigger with amuch slower flow than my return pump starts making noise because its pumping faster then box is draining.
im thinking of adding another u tube
is this a good idea
whaat should i do

i had this problem before too. what i did was get 2 pieces of saran wrap.. i submerged the U tube completely and then while it's still under water, covered the ends with saran wrap and then lift it out of the water while keeping the U tube sealed. then i placed the U tube into the overflow and took out the saran wrap covering the openings. no air bubbles!
