I I have 480G set up.. I have owned this for 2 weeks only. It's overheat twice :irked:
I shut down all the heaters but the temperature keep raising over 1-2 days.

I have 240G, 100G and 60G for over 2 years, none of them has the same problem before.

Any idea how to solve this problem.

Thanks for any response!

What kind of pump and lights are you running? You may be adding a lot of heat with other equipment besides heaters.

What is the room temp? Has to be from the pumps/filters and lighting? What is the temp getting up too?

I use 2 Fluval FX5 + XP3 and A sump w/ QUIET ONE 14000 (rate 3624GPH)
Room temp. 78F. I also shut off the light.

TANK temp 83-84 all the time. I want to keep it down to 80 but I can't.

Anything else I can do to maintain my aquarium temp?

Try running without the pump in the sump. If the lights are off and the temp still will not come down the pump is probably adding the heat. Also since you have a sump a good way to cool the tank is a fan blowing on the water, this of coarse works only when the sump is flowing.

I would lean towards the quiet one generating the heat, but that is a guess. Just start unhooking on item at a time and see what you can come up with.

Based on the equipment listed, the QuietOne has got to be the culprit, I would think...
As mentioned above, plumb the QuietOne as an inline external pump...shouldn't be that hard to do, easily. This will take heat, from the large field out of the equation, and hopefully 5-6 degrees as well... ;)
