Overpriced feeders...

I know that I can't be the only one here this has happened to...

You're out picking up some frozen chow or a length of tubing at your favorite LFS and of course you can't drive all the way to the store without taking at least one lap around the tanks...It wouldn't be right...almost RUDE in fact.

Anyway you notice a new fish in one of the tanks that catches your eye...peramiters good...size...should be good eventually...Temperment...acceptable...price...(why the hell are these fish ALWAYS the ones on sale?)

So you cave...pick up a burger on the way home and chow down while the bags floating. check a few Emails and then open the bag.

SLAM!!!!

lasts all of 20 secounds in the tank.

or additionally....it zips off to parts of your tank that you didn't know existed never to be seen again.

So far...1 Pbass baby...1 angel...and entire shipment of fire shrimp...and a bumblebee cat have slipped into the twilight zone without a trace.

How about you?
 
5 inch pike got eat by a 7 inch tsn within 6 minutes.
 
Tinfoil barbs, albino/green/julii cory cats, and baby pbass.

Most expensive feeders for my pbass haha.

haha thats hilarious and i feel your pain. It happens to most fish i get except for the first dat i got and one of my snakeheads
 
Neons ate by pbass within seconds(literally count to 1 and they're gone)

baby's gt/firemouth/oscar all ate by gar..

More I could say I'm sure..

This hasnt been a problem for me as i always make sure to grow out my fish but my oscars snap at anything that hits the water even my 8 inch endlis... even though the oscars are only like 7 inches :P
 
I have an update...I was moving decorations around in the 75gal angelfish tank and I FOUND the missing bumblebee catfish.(theres a lot of dispute over what exactly it is. No pictures...rehid almost as fast I found it.) It's doubled in size and seems healthy so cross that one off the list...LOL
