I am just about to complete my 1900 litre 10ft x 4ft x 2.5ft plywood tank.

Will I be overstocking the tank by putting in the following as the Jurupari can grow to 12 inches and I want 10 of them along with the others.

1 x Pink Giant Gourami
4 x Red & Tigers Oscars
3 x Banded Leporinus
3 x Silver Sharks
1 x Long fin Pleco
1 x Common Pleco
6 x Clown Loaches
1 x Ghost Knife Fish
10 x Satanoperca leucosticta (Commonly sold as Jurupari)

Filtration will be wet/dry trickle system with 12000 liter per hour pump, and probably a couple of internal filters (like Fluval 4??)

jurupari rarely hit 12", and take forever if they do

with a 10'x4'x2.5' tank, thats not even close to overstock IMO.

:iagree:

all I can say why are you wasting such a big tank on small fish!!!:grinno:

Get a aro community going with some rays and some other big fish, a tank that size with those small fish will look so empty :D

Go Monster or Go Home!!!

with a half decent filter youo could double that with no problems imo

get a few more Os
and like 20 more CLs
and still your tank will be far from overstocked
