ow big do black ghost grow?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are slow growers. I bought my bgk (3.5 to 4 inch) and it took 10 months for him to grow about 6.5 inch. I feed him dried and live tubifex worms and small guppies.

But i could be wrong you know, some forumers here have fast growing bgk.

I have a colony of breeders approx 65cm long. They are predatory despite their slow graceful apprearance.

not to slow but not fast they get about 14-17'' when adult

Got any pics. I would love to see them.

Mine was around 2" also when I got him over a year ago. He's now pushing 9", full-bodied, and beautiful as can be. I believe that, no matter the species, animals' growth shouldn't be pushed, but allowed to develop at a rate that's normal for each. When you push an animal's growth rate, it loses out on alot of important growth sequences.
Just give him room, clean water, and quality food.

Mine went from 3 inch in november to 8-9 inches now . Never forced any growth - just feed well(variety) give lots of space(125gal) and clean water( 30-40gal weekly water change) .
