What do you guys prefer? I'll even throw in a 3rd selection Mustad, I fish all three. If you have another brand you are partial to, shout it out.
Owner vs. Gamakatsu

Never fished owner but based in looks alone I would choose them. Between the other 2 it depends on what I rig, most times mustad but if I rig a weedless or senko worm or cray or something I go gamagatsu, I will NEVER use gamagatsu for still fishing or bottom bouncing.
Depends upon what I am fishing for. Owner hooks are the best (and sharpest), but expensive. For Tuna and other pelagic fish I use Owner. For everything else either gamakatsu or mustad.
I recently picked up some used fishing equipment and these hooks were included. They look like need to be snelled.

Eagle Claw Laser Sharp one of my favorites, but I'm fond of Gamakatsu as well. For plastics, I go with the Tru-Turn or a Slider head depending in the rig.
I know huh, the eye looks somewhat sharp.

I get most my tackle thru Merrick Tackle, great prices and no minimum orders(at least of my last ordering).
Or a barrel swivel with a split ring. The bigger ones look heavy duty for sure, I had my eye on the smaller ones though.
You'll see a lot of guys in my region at least even shore casting with 16/0-18/0 full circles for fish like this Ulua(not my pic)
