he is a little stunner , how big is the tank?

its in a thirty and i got him for ten bucks at a local fish store. he will make his way in to the 240 one day

SO... now it's not the 6 weeks before 4-17-2009 which would have been 03-06-2009 or at least in early March sometime. but apparently a year before?????

I knew you didn't have it that long... Take my advice and wait to see... it will spend much more time out of hiding once it's gotten used to it's tank which as I mentioned can take months... 6 or more sometimes
