oxygen levels for smoothhound

just wondering if anyone knows what the recommended oxygen levels are for keeping a gray smoothhound.

What temp are you running them at? Warmer water will need to have higher levels.

right now the temp is at 71, and by the way i do not have the shark yet

Even at 71 F, it would be best to increase the amount of O2 in the tank.

what would you recommend for the best way to increase 02, i have powerheads in the sump, and i have a air pump i could add, is this about all you can do?

Describe your set up for us. If you are running a sump, the water falling from the tank to the sump, and (I assume) moving over the bioballs should be enough. You can always add an airstone to the sump.

Yes it is flowing from the tank into the sump first over some mesh filters then over some live rock rubble, also has uv running and a large protein skimmer, there is a powerhead running in the aquarium itself aswell,located at the top of the water level to provide water movement on top. I could add a large air pump with airstones if needed
