I was thinking of using some oyster shells as caves for a 20L I'd like to set up for Tang shelldwellers.
Any idea as to how I'd be able to keep them together?
Would I use aquarium silicone or some other type of glue?
Also, would the whole shells help in bumping up the hardness and pH of the tank or should I crush some and add it to the substrate? The water comes out of the tap at around 7 here.
I'm not really keen on the needs of Lake Tang fish, so help would be greatly appreciated.
Hardness, pH, and those other terms kind of fly over my head, so layman's terms would help.
