A quick search on the internet said oyster shells have a lot of anaerobic and aerobic microbes that feed on dirty water, but has anybody ever tried it?

Click to expand... They would be a lot better used for pH buffering than biomedia. Besides they will dissolve over time so Matrix would be a lot better than oyster shells.
