Ozone systems?

I heard about using a UV system for keeping freshwater crystal clear and clean but I've also over heard someone talking about an Ozone system. I tried to do some research on the subject but it seems I can only find out applications on pools. Does anyone have one of these systems or know where I can find more information about them? Thanks everybody.

very large SW setups occasionally run ozone. dont know much about it but thats the only place ive heard it used
