A few weeks ago my male p-14 started to have a change in his spots. The larger spots eclipse then split into 2 or more smaller spots. So far it has just been the spots in the center of his back but if all of them did this I would not complain. has anyone else's 14 done this ?

Mine are too young to do that but I've seen pics of adults like that. Nice looking ray.

THIS IS VERY NORMAL FIRST THE SPOTS SPREAD OUT THEN THEY SPLIT INTO 8 THEN MORE LITTLE SPOTS COME AT ANYTIME MY MALE IS OVER 4 YEARS OLD AND STILL GETS MORE SPOTS FROM TIME TO TIME

ooooops sorry for the caps

the females dont seam to have as many spots as males and dont change as much a female with a lot of spots when small may look normal once the ray gets bigger and the spots spread out

they look great man. Mine are not eclipsing, but the spots are separating. My female is still adding brand new spots all down her back, but the male's are splitting into more spots. my male has a real dark black and the female has a lighter base.

what do you have them eating?

I have all my rays on pellets, but i cannot get my male broke. The female took pellets real easy.

they are looking great bryan..thanks for the update!
