P. Afers Gone Crazy

I just had to move my 12in. bowfin becuz my 2 P. Afers were taking turns creeping up on her and taking chuncks out of her and just sittin back watchin her spook dart franticly around the tank and then they'd wait for her to calm down the bite her again

Maybe the bowfin might be sick and they're preying on it.

that bowfin is healthy as a horse she's the heaviest eater I have

Is it just the bowfin? Is the bowfin getting a bit too curious and traveling into they're "comfort zone?"

they seek out the bowfin where ever he is thats y I moved him

I had to move my 11" tiger O for the same reason. My RCK & CK were tag teaming him. I came in one morning and he was in the back corner at the surface and looked like he'd been run over by a lawnmower. Some of the bites were deep as he was bleeding. He is happy and healthy now with a gold sev and big pleco.

EXACTLY I"m just lucky I caught them in the act of beating up the bowfin before any real serious injury was done
