So I bought a baby peacock bass (labeled as a Bahia Kelberi) he's about 2" long and I put him in a 10 gallon. How long will he be able to stay in the 10 gallon and about how big will he get before his growth gets stunted from being in a small tank? I have a 55 gallon I will move him into followed by a 210 gallon but he's too small to put into my 55 gallon at the moment (he'd get destroyed to say the least). Thanks guys!

All my bass start out in a 10G filtered by 2 AC50s with a bunch of salt and 90degree water.. I do WC every other day on the tank, at least 75%. I keep about 100-150 feeders in the tank at all times with them. As of today they tank has 5 bass in it around 5". Ive had far more in there at a time in the past.

Soon that batch will move up to the 90 with the juveniles until around 9". Id say youre fine with him in there until around 6" if you keep up water quality via water changes.

Tank size doesnt stunt fish. Nitrate stunts fish.
