P bass and plecos

Depends on the size of the pleco. If they are small, chances are the Pbs will probably eat them if not fed well. If you have large plecos that will not fit in your Pbs mouth then they should be fine together.

I gave a friend my 7" orino and he put it in a 75g by itself and he tried putting a 5" common pleco in with it and he killed it. He recently tried doing this again now that the orino is 9 " and tried with a 7" pleco but the same thing happened.

So to answer your question...They dont eat plecos but they do kill them. This may have been because he was the only peacock in the tank and was showing dominance. So this may differ if there are more which would allow them to spread aggression and possibly shoal.

I've seen a mono with two impaled cheaks, if it fits in their mouth, it's game.

Thanks man. Yea your probably right i just havnt seen it happen but yet there are many things i havnt seen. iv only seen them murder plecos which i have to say was better than my orino trying to eat it and possibly die.
