p bass eye damage?

i woke up this morning and my p bass had a white bubble on top of his eye it came out pretty far... i got home from work and the bubble came off and was rolling around on the bottom of the tank... he is know left with other white stuff on top of his eye?? also fed them feeders today.. he was very sluggish and only ate maybe one.. while the other ate very aggresively...http://i837.photobucket.com/albums/zz292/mmrueda47/P1000040.jpg any help?

its a type of bacterial infection.. have you been slacking off on water maintenance i.e water changes etc.. test your water out and reccitfy any problems. you might also wanna head out and get some antibiotics for bacterial infections.

I had an IT datnoid that rubbed one of its eyes til there was a white patch over its lens while I was transporting it in my scratched up, abrasive (didn't know) bucket. The next day the scratched up spot got smaller and became transparent again as the days progressed. It took 3-4 days.

Keep your water clean, you'll see within 1-2 days if its healing.
 
got him on melafix.....for the product to be affective i cannot do a water change for seven days ??correct?

correct.. wouldnt hurt to increase the temp and oxygen in the tank too for the time being..
