P bass in 55 gal

Would a p bass be fine by it's self with no structure in a 55 gal

Maybe up until 8"-10", and that's still pushing it.

Gotta get a bigger tank than that....its fine till it hits 6-8". But then its gonna need atleast a 100g....once it hits 12" its gonna need atleast a 180g+. Cichla get big fast and need large tanks.

I thought this was a typo on the 55 gallon.
I would say don't bother until you can give it a big tank. They grow pretty quickly, similar to Oscars, and you will be switching tanks soon.

What good is the tank with no cover for the fish to hide? It's like putting you in an interrogation room, only there is clear glass not a two sided mirror.
