P. bass not eating?

A few days ago I got a 2.5 inches peacock bass for my grow out tank and have tried feeding him/her pellets, flakes,and beefheart, none of which it ate. Any ideas on what he/she will eat? Is it eating whenim not there? Thanks in advance

Try bloodworms. If they don't take that fatten them up a bit and then follow the interactions on how to get them on pellets in the sticky section of cichla

X3 on the bloodworms, also tilapia and/or shrimp. My growouts dont like bloodworms for some reason, so every morning I have to defrost a piece of tilapia, spend about 5 minutes chopping it into really fine pieces, grind up massivore into a cup, and mix it all together with vitachem and feed them.

X2 bring up the temp, but I see from your photo lounge thread that you only have a sponge filter on it. You are going to need an aerator at those temperatures.

yep blood worms for sure. I recently bought a few baby azuls and thats the only thing they are eating at the moment.
