I just picked up three 2.5 inch P. Bass and was wondering what other people fed them to grow them out fast. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanx, Wilder

when there small like that, live black worms or blood worms and guppies...Power feed them with the worms to get there belly bulging..And repeat it everyday..keep the temp up around 86-87...Good luck and watch them GROW!!!
Any chance of some pics?? WHAT KIND R THEY??

mine eat small meals 3 times a day.. i don't feed them till they look like they are going to bust..

they get bloodworms, brine shrimp, krill, mysis shrimp and sometimes i chop up what i give the big pbass into small enough bites for the little guys. that would be market shrimp, chicken breast, chicken hearts, turkey hearts, beef heart, raw tuna, raw salmon, hallibut, cat fish nuggets, bay scallops (not a big hit, but we have 1 lb to use up), smelt.. actually any kind of frozen raw fish i can find in the grocery store for less than $5 lb.

does that help any?

Feeding live they will grow the quickest...if you can get them to eat other prepared foods then give them a variety to help growth! Lets see some pics!

Thanks for all the advice. I will post some pics in a few days.

Mine eat whatever hits the water besides flakes. Just feed them everyday and they will grow like wildfire.
