can anyone tell me the average size of p/bass in the home aquarium as ive heard they can grow to 36" but there is not alot of them that size in the wild from what i have read/heard

Most people buy cichla at a small size (3"). They will grow to 18" in about a year/year & half. Most people then do not have housing big enough to house a 18" fish so they get rid of them.... In the aquarium, cichla probably wont get over 25".... unless given a ton of space....
