I was thinking of getting a couple p bass, Im not sure how aggressive they are and waht size to get? I have 8in aros and tats, 4in ornates , 8in sting ray , eels and 6in gars in a 265. I was thinking of getting some 6in P bass but not sure if they will pick on my ray.

they are more aggressive towards their own kind.. just remember if it fits in their mouth (kind of lol even if it looks a bit large) its fair game ... your ray should have it the easiest out of all of them.. do you hand feed him? because that may change once you put some cichla in your tank ;)

The ornates and eels would go down like spaghetti once the bass grew an inch or two which doesn't take long depending on how they are fed. So ya, I wouldn't recommend it ;)

Like everyone always says. There's no guarantee on compatability. At best you get "'I've seen it done". but I've seen lots of Arowana with pbass and my alpha has killed two so far. Anytime you're dealing with a predator you're taking a risk. IMO Pbass are best in a species tank but, lots of people have no problems mixing them with others. G'Luck!

best tankmates for cichla is cichla, i like crenicichla and rays you may also be able to get away with

They are pretty good with fish they can't eat. I haven't had a problem with them getting along with other fish. I used to have some with a CK and Aro.

ive got mine with an Aro and RTC, no problems, one big happy family! :D
