My son caught a BTB in a local river. After converting it to silversides I migrated it to a kelberi tank. Bad idea the BTB was smaller and beat the $&# out of it. BTB then moved to the community tank with similar sized orinos, azuls tems and ocells. He already beat all of them in to submission. Just chasing so far.

The BTB aka Micropterus dolomieu, red eyes, tiger stripes, badd ***. I was amazed at the tenacity of this fish. The largemouth I mixed in with "the boys" got whooped fast. The amazon got nothing on the south branch of the raritan river. Well maybe wolfish.....and pimas.....and monster cats.

ps kelberi is doing fine.

Pics?

Edit: NM, they are just normal smallmouths...

Small mouths can be super agressive at times to the point where they kill.

That would not surprise me now. He may make it into the pond soon. I know there is a nineteen inch largemouth there though and he may become lunch, aggressive or not.

Actually just one very normal smallmouth. I took some creative liberties.

Yeah, nice edited photos, lol.

I meant with my initial wording. the photos are of a unedited smallmouth, thats what they look like. (nof offense taken just clarifying). If I gave them their street name I could have come up with something much better than smallmouth. Pound for pound they are the toughest bass, ironically they are in the sunfish family, fiction or fact from bills almanac.

If you meant the smears, drips and algea, than yes they took many hours to get right.
