I love both too. There are pulses and minuses with either one. One of the characteristics of bass I like is that they have so many species and within those species there are many collection points which brings out a endless amount of varieties to them. And the thing is that most of the year they are all widely available. Dont rule dats out though. Dats have amazing personalities and are really cool. Personally I think dats have more personality than pbass. The only downside to them is that they are some picky fish! The dat is the only fish I have not been able to pellet train. Hell I can't even get them to eat frozen shrimp silver sides and tilapia. Mine are stuck on bloodworms and nightcrawlers.
