Read DIESELMACK'S sticky on how to switch them off live food. I followed it for my monos and it only took 4-5 days to do but it worked.

do you know where to purchase live blackworms anywhere near where you live?

i feed mine bio gold pellets and raw shrimp.

if you have a place where you can purchase live blackworms/bloodworms...my method works...well, it worked for my anyway...and it was pretty easy.

Okay...this is what worked for me...hope it does for you as well. Buy live blackworms from your lfs and consistently feed them every 12 hrs for about 2-3 weeks, and feed them feeders 2-3 times a week. After 2-3 weeks of feeding them live blackworms, i got a little tupperware container and started with 1/2 cube of frozen bloodworms and added water to melt the ice. After all the ice was melted i would put live blackworms in the container as well, then i would pour some into a net ndd feed them and they would just gobble everything, live blackworms and frozen bloodworm and all. Do that for about a week. Now i just throw 2 whole cubes in the tank and they devour it while it melts, no problem.. Now im mixing frozen plankton with the frozen bloodworms, they still occasionally spit some out here and there, but getting use to it.

thanks for the advice i wiil try live black worms, today i bought some freeze dried krill and one of the p-bass likes it the other one wont touch it, i also threw in some white clouds of course the devoured them in minutes

Instead of throwing the white clouds in all at once throw them in one at a time and once your fish are taking them as soon as they hit the water toss in a piece of market shrimp or something. They may spit it out the first few times but they will eventually eat it.

I started out tossing in a few fish (one at a time) then a piece of shrimp then a few more fish. I gradually tossed in more shrimp over the next few days until that was all I was tossing. Once one starts eating it the others will start soon after.

One other thing. You will probably have better luck with something that sinks and is about the same size as the feeder fish. That is why I used market shrimp.

yeah i read dieselmacks sticky and it sait about the same thing , i was just worried cause they hadent eatin in a few days. thanks for the advice

My little 4'' monos are almost taking sinking pellets. I havent gone to get guppies and they are out of tubifex worms(live). They went through a good 200 guppies over the weekend so they will be fine until the lfs gets worms or guppies. Maybe they will take after the pleco in w/ them and eat the pellets(pleco is growing fast!)
