P. Clarkii breeding question

Hi

Is there a way to trigger the females to become berried?
I know the male has done his duty but I still don't have any berried females. They are eating well and molting normally.
It's been at least 2 months and no berried females.
Do I just have to wait?

A slow cool on the tank followed by a warming trend will trigger a late winter berrying. Warming the tank by 'raining' the warmer water would probably work best.

The males are 3" and the females are 3.5"+

I've seen them mating many times and they've molted a few times in between but still no eggs.
