Just over the past say 3 months my Piranha keeps taking a bite out of the air line. Ive changed it 3 times already. Ive seen him bite it, in spite i guess. Anyone else have this problem or come up with a good idea to fix it. I was going to use solid clear piping i used for something else. Im sure he could bite that in half but could flush it in the corner or something. Anyone have a good idea? im sure easy fix isn't hard but something nice would be coo.

I have had that happen and used solid black plastic tubing to sleeve the airhose

Tokay, I position the rocks in my 110g. to hide the pipe and not allow them to get behind it. It looks pretty cool being off the corner. Looks like a mini-under water mountain.:grinyes:

maybe u can put it through a sypho tube with it in the water, and since its clear, it wont be to noticable, and its thickness should be ok from the bites from the Ps.

LoL:ROFL: What type of P's do you have??

Guppy has a good idea but I use a plastic tube the same size as my airline.Make the hard libne as tall as your tank I cut the airline right before it goes into my tank, attach the hard line and when the hard line is in the tank add a small piece of the soft tubing to the end and into your bubble wand or whatever you have. I will try to get a pic of mine, easier done than said on the tubing.

Yeah, Your Right. That would work. By the way, Nice Picture on the other Thread. :clap :headbang2

Guppy has the idea too , but I cut my soft line before it goes into the tank and add a clear hard line the same height of my tank and slide it in witht he soft line still outside the tank and then I add another short soft line going to my bubbler. here is a pic of how I have it. You can only see how the bottom is in the pic but you should be able to get the idea. If you place it right in the corner you will never even know its there
