Was wondering if there were any P's i could keep in a 40g breeder tank. not interested in Red Bellysor small exodons. Looking for a single specimen

Well I will definitely upgrade to a bigger tank once i graduate from school next year. At one point 3 years ago i had a 300g 180g 125g and mutliple smaller tanks set up in my basement. Sold them all and slowly wanna get back in the game.

Serra. Sanchezi would be fine in it for life.
basically any Serra specie that won't get lager than 9" or so should be fine. just gotta make sure you keep the water parameters in check as 40 gallon of water isn't too much and piranha can be messy eater

Genus Pristobrycon only get 6" max! I have a denticulatus I've grown out from .5" size to 5" in less then 2 years and he is absolutely vicious and awesome!

Lives in my high tech planted 40b and will for life :)

Here's a link to a good site that sells them: http://www.aquascapeonline.com/prodList.asp?item=Denticulatus Piranha&idCategory=312

With a 40b you don't want to school them, their great solo.
