Got some of these recently. i have read that they only get about 10 inches. is this correct?

10-12" should be max size for a male. Females a bit smaller

They are a cool fish. I have a young pair getting ready to spawn.

I have a 10" male left from my pair (male killed female) and they get to 12"+ and some to 14" or so. Awesome parachromis sp. Have fun with them.

triz, If you are asking about my pair, they are small. The male is approaching 4" and the female about a half inch smaller. When they do the deed I`ll start a thread and put up some pics. Their breeding colors are amazing!
