hi guys, i picked up this ray today for 70 $ from a local store, labeled as a p hystrix. i'm not sure if it's a true hystrix, a false peru hystrix, or another type of ray altogether.
any guesses?
she's 3 inches disc right now, sectioned off in my 300 gal with my female 8 inch retic. it's quite cute, they're acting like good friends already and near inseparable.
male still has his own half of the tank because he's nearing maturity.
i realize she's skinny and her hip bones are showing, but she'll be packing on the weight like my retics in no time.
i'm happy with the purchase regardless of what type she really is, more curiosity has me asking.
