i introduced the red texas into the flowerhorn's tank a few days ago and he beat her up pretty bad and was chasing her around. so i put the divider in. and today, i noticed the flowerhorn (she) was on the other side and the texas (he) wasn't beating her up anymore. does this mean they've paired up?

i think my pair wants to lay eggs. what should i put in there for them to lay eggs on? my flowerpots are not big enough, i see some people use plates? will a big plate work?

I goto Home Depot but you can get them in the garden section of most stores like Walmart or Target. They are the orange plates that go under flowerpots.
