P. polleni temperatures

In research, I have read that P. polleni is noted as one of the most adaptable cichlids, i.e. pH, hardness/SG, elevation, current and temperature.

This said what temperatures do you all keep your P. polleni at?

I have an 8 incher in my 180 that's kept at around 80 degrees

78 year round for mine as well. In the summer it may go up to 81/82 if the ac isn't on 24/7

Does anybody keep them in unheated indoor aquariums year round of think they it may be a problem?

I had an individual that I kept in an 300 gal outdoor stock tank in Wisconsin in summer, night temps easily dipped into the 60s'F, rising in the day to the 80sF.
I would find it sunning itself in early morning, but work its way deeper in the heat of the day.
I believe the northern varieties are probably less tolerant of changes being from closer to the equator, than the southern location variants.
