Hey guys,
I have the opportunity to get some flower rays and I was wondering what their maximum size was? I cant remember but I think they grow larger than motoro, right?
Also, how is their temperment compared to P. motoro? Are they aggressive feeders, etc. Any help would be appreciated. If they are more sensitive I may decide against them.

To be honest I think they are harder to raise then motoros but in the long run you'll be left with a way better looking ray. They look so much more nicer when their mature, I say go for it that is the ray I recommend to anyone if they are not looking to spend so much but are looking for a nice bad *** ray. You can compare them to tigers in my opinion as far as hardyness just keep up with water changes and 86 degree water and you will be fine. ohh and worms are all mine eat they are pickey eaters maybe you'll get lucky and get them to eat something that dont cost so much.

I have many many flowers, my biggest is 28 inch across. They need a very large aquarium. They need to be warm 86 no less.
Motoros may stress them, so be carefull.
They do not do well in smaller tanks for any length of time.

They would be going in a 220 gallon, but I guess that would be too small if they get that large. 86 degrees is not a problem as that is what my tank is almost all the time anyways. If they are not as aggressive though they might not make it. Already have a motoro and some retics
