P.senegalus ate gravel.....

I bought a small 3 inch P.senegalus and i actually have pool filter sand but when i swapped out my river rock gravel there was a few left behind and they rise to the top now and then...We are talking about maybe 3 -4 gravel pieces and his DUMBAZZ ate one ...I actually seen his DUMBAZZ eat it! Will he die or spit it out later? The rock is not thicker than his body and i can see the slight bulge in his belly.

it might spit it out but then agian it could be unable to and end up killing it self

I gad a senegal the same size do the same thing in the same situation. A year later he has grown to 7" and still has the bulge from the gravel.

I had a 4'' ornate do that, his skin turned all red and was infected and couldnt eat anything, so I put him down... goodluck with yours

I did not see the bulge today...So i hope he spit it out or pooped it out! I took the remaining 3 pepples out.

This guy is so much more Active than my Delhezi's...I may go pick up another one!

Why is the fish a "DUMBAZZ"? You're the one who left gravel in the tank despite it being a well known fact that polys eat gravel...
