P. Senegalus growth rate?

What should i be able to expect from a sen as far as growth rate goes, if i get it at like 3"? It would be fed dried bloodworms and wardley carnivore pellets.
How much do sens grow every month? Every 6 months?

depends on the water,amount food,tank size for me my senegal grew in a 100 gallon tank like 3"-8" in like 4-5 months

oh. i actually just remembered, a bichir probably isnt a great idea for my tank because my plecs will suck on its scales.
