I wasn't worried about this guy to begin with since he's always been less red on his belly but now its been like two weeks with no sign of change. Only huge difference I know I've done since then is 3 water changes with slightly colder water. Any ideas? The half fish on the left is fine and more of an light/angle issue.

You tryn to get those cariba to spawn or what foster? N why are you worried If one is stayn lighter? If he's eating fine then I wouldn't sweat it he'll darkn up when he's ready.

Its been hot enough lately that the cold water is only a hair cooler than what I would normally use anyway. Everytime I try and get a bit of hot going on I end up playing the wander back and forth game turning it back down when it gets too warm. And I'm worried because it was dark and now it's about ready to glow in the dark...

Plus Ima girl, I have to worry about babies even if its a fish

As long as he's eating fine n acting fine I wouldn't worry about him.maybe he just wants a lil extra attention?lol. N its in your DNA to worry about your babies foster I wouldn't worry bout that neither.nothing wrong with wanting the best for your fish.

Shuld be ok he will darken up. As bruner said asking as he's acting and eating right then no worries he will be ok.

Everyones been acting and eating fine but I think I figured it out. Seems like he's the new dominant in the tank and has taken up quite the prime real estate. Don't know if he would change color but it's the only significant change I can spot.
