I have heard these guys are fairly aggressive, but mine gets chased by cichlids that are much smaller (nic and a. rostratus). Mine is about 4''-5'', and extremely peaceful. Will this fish stay this peaceful or get more aggressive?

I have 2 small juvies. about 2" each. in my central american community grow out tank. .... I have heard of how aggressive they are , so I purposely go them smaller than my other vieja and centrals, but they have actually been very chill. they get chased around too. but i can tell they will be the most colorful already, so pretty escited about that. .............. I bet when these fish are mature and about a foot long they will be killers. ..... so maybe we should just enjoy it while they are peaceful. .lol
Mine is about 5" right now and still peaceful. Sometimes he'll get into little lip-locking battles with my male cutteri, but it's more a show than any actual contact. I hope he stays peaceful as he ages.
Syns ime are more peaceful then most of other Vieja, but as all cichlids mature their individual personalities shine through
