Hello all, after being in Flowerhorns for so long I have met all kinds of people. One of my friends specialize in Stingrays. He has been trying to get me to go into business with/for him, however with the prices I have been skeptical. Out of curiousity, how much is a Galaxy Stingray worth? How do I tell the quality?
 
Regular p14's 3-4k... If u could even find a real "galaxy p14" Available in the US I'd say 5-6k. I know pups are right around 2.5k
 
I've heard a pair sold for 50k in an auction in singapore.
 
Making $ with fish is a risky business. Think twice. It's hard enough just to break even much less count on any regular income from the hobby.
 
Thanks for all the advice. My passion is fish keeping, its my hobby, not my job. I have a desire to keep rays and all my friends call me the second Noah because what ever pet I purchase I buy in pairs. If Im going to enjoy them as pairs may as well make some money. I will post a picture of the Ray soon and maybe you guys can help me. He wants 10000 for a pair. If pups can be sold at 2.5k I should be able to make my money back. Thats all I want, afterwards I would drop the price low enough that the buyers are just paying for food.

10000 for a pair if CRAZY expensive, You can find them alot cheaper
 
Thanks a bunch for all the answers... I have breed everything I own bro, not to sound arrogant, I just think I have a niche for breeding. If all else fails, I'll play a little Barry, Frank, Marvin... ... It works for me, why not the fish. LOL
