I just finished up day 3 of my p90x journey. I was wondering if there are any other mfkers currently using the system, or that have already completed it. If so share your experiences, trials, and tribulations. How did it work for you? Was there anything that you did differently?

P90X is hard core (for me at least) I am no skinny guy and out of shape so I bought a treadmill. My wife says to me "hey I am starting a new workout if your serious about getting fit". I made it to day five and felt like hamburger....! She has stuck it out and is looking amazing. The plyometrics and chest and back were hard for me but again she is getting great results. I met her in the middle and run while she is doing those two videos until I get a little better fit to try again. I like the kempo and shoulders and arms though.

One of my employees (the one who got my wife on it) is on week six and she looks great lost a lot of weight. Good luck man, hope you don't smoke...

Its definitely challenging. I use it for the upper body workouts, the cardio was too high impact having had knee and ankle injuries in the past (lots of bmx and mtb riding).

i was doing it up to day 60 and stopped for few days because I had to do something for 3 days and just could not get back in the zone. I did not follow the diet plan just did the classic workout. I gain 10 lbs of muscle. I was getting mad comments from co-workers and family and friends. It works... keep it up.

Yeah, it is really intense to say the least, I am not small myself either, and I am just doing as much as I can to keep up and I hope to see great results!

What are the chances that I finished day 3 of p90X as well???

I am "trying" to stick with the diet. That means smaller and more often meals and less carbs. I'm Filipino and we are rice eaters...

This is my second day of being sore... Worse than yesterday.

I would like to think that I am in decent shape but I worked out little after I finished a sprint triathlon 5 weeks ago.

You want a crazy story? I did plyometrics yesterday at 0530 and swam laps at 1700 for about 45 minutes non-stop. Needless to say I was spent at the end of the day!!!

I am planning on adding the following to the program: swimming on Tuesdays, running on Thursdays, and playing basketball on Saturdays...:screwy::screwy::screwy:

I'm 5'6" @ 160lbs at 19% body fat if it matters.

Im about to start week 5! It is intense but every disk is a great workout! Hard to get motivated some days but once you put in the disk its on! I am not doing the diet and getting results so I can imagine with the diet too! Good luck! Dont quit! Yoga is intense!

So far the plyometrics, to me, is the hardest! I am 6'4" and all those squats and jumps really killed my quads!

plyometrics is really intense, It helps me out a lot doing stretches before and after workouts, keeps you from tightening up the next day, if anyone wants to try out the p90x program send me a pm I can get you a copy with manuals, work out sheets included for $20 shipped, I paid the full price, figured i could help some people out and at the same time get some of my money spent back.
