P_P please help with IDing this pike*load heavy*

The lase few days I have showed my friends Pike now here is mine. I got him\her about a year ago for 5.00 at the LFS, he\she ws about 1 1\2 inches. The color change has been remarkable, now I just need to ID. Very shy bugger, I had to tease him\her with crawlers to come out.


the best I can do for a tale shot. The Severum is quite photogenic, has to have all the attention.

could be a female lugubris, johanna. $5 was a very nice steal...

Aye, very possible its a female!! . Crenicichla johanna is a very definate possibility. A variant of Crenicichla sp. lugubris also possibly. Awesome pike either way! Love the coloration!! . Put some lighter colored substrate in there, you'll see her coloration more...

Thanks! Atleast I have an idea now, thought it might be a johanna. Every one is moving to a 220 next year, I will consider lighter substrate then.

C. Johanna i think. Beautiful fish. I had one about a year ago. Lots of personallity and not that aggressive. I miss mine!
