PA bowfin

Anyone know where/how to find bowfin near pittsburgh. Been fishing all my life and never come across a single one. Would like to have one in my 180

They are far from plentiful in our state. Google it, thats what I did. I used to know some lakes with the.

I've been fishing since I was a kid, I'm now 17 and never saw one in person, let alone catch one. I hear there plentiful in florida though.....

I had never even heard of one until I caught one 2 summers ago. Now I catch them all the time. But, I am in southern Ohio

Up here in Minnesota I've seen juvenile Bowfins swimming in schools in the summer time and I usaully get 1 or 2 big ones when fishing for bass.

Man I grew up fishing in FL and never caught one either. Supposedly they're common but I've never seen one.
