Here is a picture of our recently departed Paddletail newt. I was away from the house for several days, and my wifes tank went from 72° to 84°. Yesterday I discovered him dead, and only today was I able to get my AC put in. I will be looking for another one for her shortly, but they are becoming increasingly harder to find.

Yep fully aquatic. They aren't like fire bellies that need time out of the water. These guys will not last long out of the water.

I have a chinese rough-skinned newt that is about10-12" long, he looks truly ancient.

He gets to be about a max size of 7". Mine was about 6". Don't know where to look either, but really want another one or two.

That thing is awesome! I would love to get one like that, where did you get that guy? My wife would hate it already I know.

demandor you have some cool stuff. you should post em all up. yea the paddletails are cool. it got a long with your fish did it? like your adonis. the ones i had ate fish
