Pack or clean fish tank?

I'm going to the Philippines in 3 days for 3 weeks and have not packed yet... so what do I do? I clean the fish tank(Hope the wife doesn't find out). At least it's at it's lowest stock in 1.5 years. As long as the fish sitter doesn't overfed... I think I'm good.

I worry most about my pool pond as my sitter said she isn't getting wet if anything happens.

Oh well...wish me...or my fish luck.

Just have them feed 1x a week,
less chance for failure,
and make out the portions and bag it up ahead of time.
Mark it for what date to feed it...
less food, less waste and the W/C won't have to be done till you get back.
The fish will be fine being fed 1 x per week for 3 weeks...
Is the Fish sitter also a keeper?
 
+1 on zennzzo's plan. I like to keep my sitting as easy as possible when it comes to my aquatic family.
 
+ 3 on what Zennzzo said. If it was a week and under I wouldn't even feed. I learned my lesson the hard way by letting non-fish people take care of my fish.
 
+4 on Zennzzo, the man with a great plan. As far as the sister getting wet in the pond. That would be a real tough decission for a female at any point. Especially if the pond fish only get fed once a week and she goes in . . . she'd be fish food for sure!

Nope,

I already told her do not overfeed even if she is late. I normally only feed my fish every three days.

As far as the pond I'm most worried about the filter getting knocked over as it sits on a flower pot in the middle of a 15foot diameter pool. It's easy to trip over the cord running through the grass.
 
why does packing or cleaning the tank take 3 days? Do both
