its a secret
well i had to return my first pacman to pet co after it develped a bump in its side and quit eating, so they exchanged it with anouther one. this time all they had was an albino wich is cool with me. a lil smaller but still the same thing. anyways last night he just randomly started sitting in his water dish, well he has been in it since like 10pm last night, and still is, is this normal? also he seem to really like wax worms. any problems with feeding wax worms? thanks
Rob

What is your set up? Tell us all about it. Wax worms are fatty so you can give them to it as a treat. Stick with crickets and super worms as a staple. Then, once its bigger, you may venture out into larger prey.

well its in a 10 gallon, with eco earth sub strate, nice and damp, humidity is about 70% in the day and almost 90%+ in the mornings, temp runs like 68* in the morning, to 82* ish in the day, has a under tank heater and normal light above.

BTW how bug does he have to be to eat super worms? he is maybe 1" to 1.5" around. realls small yet.

Since super worms are to large for you frog, you may use meal worms.

I don't see a problem. Take the frog out of the water onto the substrate. If it goes back into the water, it might be trying to get rid of a parasite it has on its body. Might be to hot, or you animal might just go throught a phase. How deep is the dirt?

i used a full brick of eco earth fot it, if i had to guess, at least 1" if not 1.5". well ill find out here in a lil bit if he is still in the water. hopefully he moved.

well last night he was still in the water dish, so i removed him, fluffed up all of his substrate, cleaned his water dish and put fresh non-chorine water in there. set him on the side misted down his cage and went to sleep. work up and he was back in his water dish :(

dont know what to do now, i am going to remove 1 of his bulbs cause the tank top has 2 bulbs in it... any other ideas????

at least he doesnt bury himself all day where you never see him. some frogs just like staying in their water dish.

well i guess, but it seems wierd compared to my other one i had, hasnt burried himself or nothing. but is there any other sugestions???

leave him in the waterdish!!!!

he is perfectly fine in there!!!!!!!!!

he's just absorbing some moisture, it's where he will spend most of his time anyway.

its completely normal and healthy! don't worry.

Young pacman frogs usually prefer to stay in the water. Remember he's not too far out from tadpole stage. Maybe he just feels more comfortable there. Mine didn't start burying himself until the 2.5 inch mark.
