Pacman frog how do you take care of them looking to get one?

Just google pac man frog care

But they need humidity, not good to keep them together they may eat one another. Use a soil like substrate, need good lighting...um thats all I remember but EricIvins had some great pac mans for sale a while ago maybe get in touch with him if your buying.

They are bottomless pits, and eat you out of house and home. I would recommend cocofiber substrate, it's relatively cheap and doesn't harm the environment.

I've known people to keep them on newspaper, but they do enjoy burrowing down into the damp dirt, so I believe it's a matter of personal preference. The newspaper would be easier maintenance wise.

Keeping Frogs on newspaper is a bad idea. I'd imagine the newsprint would be toxic...
It's not, as long as you ensure you are using only black/white. I wouldn't use colored ink. It's what I use for all my herps/amphibs. The VA living museum also uses it often. Inexpensive, easy to clean!

no newspaper or paper towel for pacman frogs
They are ambush predators and often burrow in dirt for ambushing prey and also temperature control. Coco fiber bedding is most recommended.
Here is a good care sheet that gives you all the information you need

yeah that cocofiber is awsome. you can get 3 bricks of it in a pack for like 10 bucks. a quarter of a brick will take up the bottom of a 25 gallon nicely and it holds moisture very well. perfect for a packman

cool thanks for the tips
