counting the pressure glass is under with water alone, then the power of a pacu, i could never possibly feel safe with glass i dont think, nor tell anyone to keep pacu over say 10" in a glass tank. it wont be a matter of IF the pacu can break through, its WHEN. and i say that from keeping 4 of them.
and properly fed, a pacu will reach that 10" mark in a year.
if i had the choice, id go with as thick as possible acrylic. otherwise, i dont reccomend keeping the tank anywhere but a basement![]()
