Right now I have 3 pacu that need a new home. I took them in as 3" babies from an inexperienced newbie to the fish keeping world who had them in a 29 gallon aquarium. They were purchased with the idea that they may grow to 12"
..lol!!! They are passed that now.. I have a large tank but not as big as they need. They are starting to get nippy to each other and the other tank mates. I took them in because seeing those little monsters in a 29, I thought was cruel....Well.. Now when I look in my 180 --I feel like I'm being cruel.. Don't get me wrong they are healthy growing fish but I don't have the pond they should be in!!!
I'm hoping to relocate these fish with your help--Are there any mfk'ers who have the space and are willing to pick them up here in kalamazoo michigan? If so please contact me.. I have raised these fish for a while and I'm very attached to them...But I think it's time for them to have a bigger home. I don't have the finances for a larger tank and the frying pan is out of the question!!!!
